Question for the community at large. Potentially looking at rat racks.
I normally use ARS hybrids for the snakes, I want peoples opinion of freedom breeder vs ars in the rat systems???

We are using an ARS 7024 its been good for us ! We have rats and asfs in it. The feature why I would maybe go with FB in the future is the water system that seems to be design way better.

I just started breeding Asfs and went with ARS. I am using 2 racks, went with 2 bottom levels of the 20 series tubs and 8 levels of the 10 series tubs on top. Really liking them so far, but never used anything ever before.

We use ARS 7024 and 1050 for our maternity breeding setup, in addition to a few DIY cement tub racks for ASF and hold backs. I agree with , and I have talked about trying out a FB rack for the watering system.

Yeah there are some gripes I have with the ARS racks but they're meh. Food hopper on back can be a pain in the ass but you get used to it. The water system...it works. We are considering a FB for a few reasons but we shall see when that bridge needs crossing.

So my problem is that I am brand loyal to ARS, but I like the stainless and design of freedom breeder. It seems better designed with the stainless water tubing and front feeding hoppers. Something to mull over.
