Swore I was moving on to other projects, but then I had another cute Halloween idea, so here's some dune geckos decorating for creepy season.

Put my tiniest best friend on a t-shirt so more people can appreciate how awesome he is.
Can't help myself. Here's a caiman lizard in an alligator costume.
Another new reptile Halloween shirt is up. This one features everyone's favorite, the gaboon viper.
Anyway, here's a new design I did last week featuring my favorite reptile, the black-breasted leaf turtle.
Successfully did NOT bring home a reptile or amphibian (which was the plan since my only spare enclosure needs a major overhaul), but I did grab a new succulent for my tortoise enclosure and got to see some reptiles I haven't seen in person before (like Yellowtail Cribos!!).
I'm not sure I'm comfy with the way folks were handling/selling all of monitors and iguanas, though. Surely there has to be a better way to showcase them than nasty clear totes and dog travel bins that force them to bend their tails 45 degrees or more.
Also there were some *clearly* dead frogs and at least one ball python that was either passed or on death's doormat. I know I went on Sunday, but that's not a great look for you, the vendor, that the animals can't even last the weekend on display. At least one vendor got themselves on the no-return list for this type of thing, which I overheard just as we got in the gate.
If Fresno really wants to be in the community, some better husbandry rules need to be put in place. It's better than in the past, but still full of bad habits new reptile keepers might pick up thinking its okay.
