Looking for peoples opinion.
I'm just starting out when it comes to breeding ball pythons. I have bought one five month old female. What are your thoughts? Should I be buying breeder ready males and females or wait and raise hatchlings. Any pros and cons to either one?

Hello and welcome to the hobby. I would say that if you currently have the space to grow take advantage of current market conditions and try to find some adult females proven or 1200+ grams. Pros are you will get to produce your own quicker. Cons are you don’t know the animals inside and out as you would if you raised it yourself. Also good adult females are usually more money. Don't rush, buy quality. Once you have some females ready then spend some $$$ on a high quality male. Best of luck.
